How to Revitalize Your Business in 30 Days with No Money Out of Pocket

Have you ever taken your car onto a frozen lake, parked it, cut a hole in the ice, and begun fishing?

If you live in a warm environment, this may seem like a foolish concept. Why would you remain on the ice for hours, freezing to death, waiting for a fish to awaken from its frigid slumber and bite your hook?

Making an ice-fishing shanty is one method to make this pastime more comfortable. This is a small construction that is pulled out onto the ice and is about the size of a garden shed. The construction features one or more trap doors in the floor where you can cut through the ice with an auger.

You may outfit these shanties with comfortable seats and a propane heater - just don't get it so hot that it melts into or through the ice.

"What does this have to do with email marketing?"

Maybe nothing, but bear with me...

A couple in Princeton, Minnesota, decided they'd rather have chicken eggs than fish and turned their ice fishing shack into a chicken coop.

They installed nesting boxes to accommodate 80 chickens and used the trap doors to wipe up the old bedding and chicken feces before relocating the structure — on wheels. When a chicken hawk comes in the skies, the hens can seek refuge beneath their chicken coop.

Really, I think this is a far better use for the ice shanty than sitting in the cold for hours hoping a fish has had enough of life and is ready for the fry pan.

If you've been doing web marketing for any amount of time, I'm sure you have assets that you're not fully utilizing right now. It's simply an issue of finding such assets and putting them to greater, more productive use.

Do you, for example, have...

  Old email lists?

  social media followers?

Products that you developed but no longer sell?

Content that is dormant and has no readers?

Special knowledge on how to do particular things?

PLR products you bought but never used?

Any of these assets, as well as a slew of others I didn't mention, can be repurposed to help your business grow.

Consider this ... If an old ice shanty can find new life holding 80 chickens, couldn't you ...

Resurrect your old email lists by launching a 30-day campaign of emails that people WANT to read?

Begin a new, coordinated campaign to direct your social media followers to your website, squeeze pages, and products?

Update, refresh, and re-release your old products, or  sell resell rights to them?

Update and repurpose your existing content into audios, videos, new posts, books, and so on?

How about turning your particular knowledge into fresh blogs, lead magnets, and products?

Find the gold in those PLR products you bought and repurpose them into content and products, too.

You should make a list of everything you have, whether it's on your website, on your hard drive, or in your memory.

Then, after each item, consider 5 ways you may repurpose and reuse it to expand your audience or increase your revenue.

If you've been doing online marketing for any length of time, I'll bet you an ice-fishing shanty that you're wasting thousands of dollars right now.

The task is to recognize them, choose a course of action, and then go to work.

And it won't cost you a dime.
